I have never much liked this Hal­loween treat, but maybe that’s just be­cause candy corn doesn’t have a face like Pep­peridge farm Gold­fish, or gummy bears. All that is about to change.

As­terix comic turned 50 yes­ter­day. I think its a great lit­tle pub­li­ca­tion and gave two of the comics to my brother‐in‐law last year for Christ­mas. But check out the his­tory of the as­ter­isks and obe­los for which the char­ac­ters were named.

This site has be­come sadly ne­glected… I will work on that.

How se­ri­ously do you take your re­cy­cling? Do you try to find ways to re­cy­cle odd items? What about but­ter wrap­pers?
